“Enjoy life. There's plenty of time to be dead.” ― Hans Christian Andersen

Having now been in the tennis industry for most of the past 40 years I can honestly say that I have been a very lucky person.
Even in these trying times I feel very fortunate to have a job that is active, social, and something that I enjoy. I suppose we all have our version of what is success, but I would venture to say that how much you were able to enjoy life along the way would be high up on the gauge of what makes a life successful.
Yes, getting to play and teach tennis for a living has been pretty darn good.
I believe that when you come to BTTC we should all feel lucky that we are privileged enough to get to play tennis and work out. Tennis is such a good sport that it never stops challenging you. No matter how good you get there is always some part of the game that could improve.
Why else do all the pro’s have a coach. So, if you want to get better you should practice and keep learning.
We all have challenges in life. The pandemic has taken its’ toll on all of us. We will never be able to avoid the normal hardships of a life.
Like life, tennis often challenging but when our game seems to have gone south just remember you are getting to PLAY tennis. You should smile and say to yourself, “I am so lucky that I get to play this game”.
