Hello. It's Me. With a tip you're looking for.

Are you a person? Do you occasionally dabble in doing things? Do you sometimes wish you could do the things better?

Boy, do I have a product for you. It’s called… resistance training, and it is oh so hot right now.

Why is it so hot you ask?

Well, how’s this sound? “Current research has demonstrated that countering muscle disuse through resistance training is a powerful intervention to combat muscle strength loss, muscle mass loss (sarcopenia), frailty, and their debilitating consequences on physical function, mobility, independence, chronic disease management, psychological well-being, and quality of life.” (Fragala et. Al)

Wait wait wait… Whos Fagala? Oh, just the lead author on the above position statement by THE National Strength and Conditioning Association. The same person who then went to support that statement with 659 different conclusive studies demonstrating the undeniable health benefits of strength training.

Yes. 659 studies. And guess what… That’s only a fraction of them (trust me – I spent 4 years of my life having to read them). I could go on with quote after quote expounding on each of them, but I think that one speaks strongly enough for itself.

The cool thing about resistance training is it can be adapted for anyone, at any time.

There is almost no circumstance in which we can’t make exercise work in a way that is accessible to the individual.

We can use it to ensure that you are always improving, which is cool. Whether that be function, general strength, pain, sports performance, or psychological benefits, exercise can and will help.

I understand it can be hard to get started though, and that’s where our fitness staff comes in.

We aren’t just here to lead you through the workouts and provide breathtaking comedy. We can also help find ways to fit the things into your schedules. To prioritize positive behavior change. To show you things you didn’t think of that fit your goals perfectly.

You don’t have to do the same thing as the person next to you, but you do need to do something. Your quality of life literally depends on it.

All you have to do is come in and ask for some help. We will take it from there.

Peace and Love
