Here are our answers to your FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) during COVID Temporary Club Closure
May 18, 2020We miss you! During our club closure, we are working behind the scenes on projects that are hard to get to during our regular business hours. We've received lots of questions and thank you for your patience as we sort things out.
Here are our answers to your FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions):
Q: How do I retrieve things from my locker?
A: During Monday 3/16- Friday 3/20; Members can retrieve personal items from lockers during these times: 8-9am, 12-1pm, 5-6pm.
If those times do not work for you, please send an email to "[email protected]" and we will contact you to set up a different time.
Q: What will happen with missed tennis clinics, Healthy Knees, and Cycle Moles?
A: You will be given credit on your account for the pro-rated value of all cancelled classes. We will determine that after the closure is lifted and we know what was cancelled versus used and remaining. Our current "Early Spring" Session ends 4/26/20.
Q: What happens to the membership dues I paid in March?
A: For the current closure March 16-31, 2020: we will post a credit to your account for 1/2 month's dues at your regular rate (except for the memberships noted below).
For membership types and services listed below, we will extend your renewal date or expiration date by the number of days for which we are closed:
-
"Yearly" dues payer (pay for the year in full)
-
"IGNITE" member (28-day trial membership)
-
Student Fitness Members
-
Student Tennis Members
-
Ball Machine Club
We've had many members offer to continue to pay dues to help support paying our staff during this challenging time. Thank you so much, your kind actions are appreciated, and we are overwhelmed with gratitude for our wonderful members.
Q: Will I be charged for dues while the club is closed?
A: You will not pay dues while we are closed. Automatic payments set up for April and beyond will not be processed and will be recalculated for the date we are allowed to reopen.
Q: Can I put my membership on hold when the club reopens?
A: Once we reopen, if you wish to put your membership on hold and are in the "high risk" category, please send us an email and we can take care of putting your membership on hold. Regular hold fees apply.
Q: What happens to my unused package of tennis lessons and/or personal training sessions?
A: If you have a package of Personal Training Sessions or Tennis Lessons, the package will still be waiting for you when we reopen. We will extend the expiration (normally one year) on all packages for the duration for which we
were closed.
Q: Can you hold fitness classes outside during the closure?
A: We would love to hold group classes outdoors but, at this time, we are not allowed to do so.
Q: Can I borrow or rent equipment from the club while you are closed?
A: That is such a wonderful idea, but our insurance and risk of liability prevent us from doing so.
Q: Can you post some videos or give us some workouts we can do at home?
A: YES! We are working on tennis, weight training, and cycling videos for you to follow along at home. Vigorous exercise is an important part of keeping your immune system and healthy strong. Videos are coming, Stay tuned!
Q: What are all you guys doing while the club is closed?
A: We are working on cleaning projects, administrative projects, and filming videos for you. We want to welcome you back to a sparkly clean, thoroughly disinfected club!
Q: If I dance an Irish Jig, will it help?
A: We condone all dancing, especially an Irish Jig on St. Patty's day or any other day. Keep moving! Dancing is wonderful exercise.
We miss you and like hearing from you! Please email us with any other questions you may have.
Please take care of yourself!
