Independence!

This month’s topic as you have probably figured out is “Independence”.

While thinking about what to write, these words came to mind, self-determination, self-sufficiency, and self-reliance.

Take a moment and think about what these words mean to you. I have found all of them to be extremely important right now in my life.

Dealing with a Pandemic, not being able to see my parents, having shoulder surgery, working from home for 3 months, trying to figure out our new social and cultural changes have made me self-sufficient, self-reliant and has kicked my determination into high gear!

I like the idea of independence in the traditional sense of the word but to me I really don’t want to be totally independent, I want to be a part of a Team, Family and Community.

I feel like BTTC is that for me and I so hope it is for you, too!
